Kettering students love coding TI Rovers. Emmett, a 4th grade student told me while he waited to get a Rover for his 3rd Rover lesson, "Rovers are the most exciting challenge we do in school because it is fun and different!" Engaged Learner! @KetteringLearns @TICalculators

5th grade Drone Pilots navigate drones through a flight path engineered by fellow classmates. Students learned about the history of drones (Kettering Bug), physics of a drone, how to calculate the speed of a drone, and develop their PoG skills! @KetteringLearns @KCSPortraitGrad

2nd grade biologist studying the behavior of worms and the impact they have on their school garden. Gathering data, comprehending informational text, developing Portrait of a Graduate skills, and career awareness contribute to the STEAM State of Mind! @KetteringLearns @stem_do

Kettering is enjoying a beautiful Winter Wonderland, which has sparked an opportunity for 1st-grade students to make snow globes and learn concepts such as density, seasons, motion, perspectives, phonics, detailed reading, and being thoughtful communicators. @KetteringLearns

Engineering LEGO monsters (Color Monster) while identifying different emotions has made a big impact on these 1st grade students! Integrating SEL, LA, Engineering, and communication is a highly engaging way to learn! @KetteringLearns @KetteringSchls
