FYI this specific event (and the comments section on IGN in this same era) led directly to the Todd & Aaron’s Game Awards series. Not only was it hilarious that Madden won GOTY, but it was the first award given in the show, which was also hysterical (imagine them giving out Best Picture right at the beginning of the Oscars). That’s why we always have Game of The Year up front! The gag continues across decades

Got a colonoscopy, first time being put under, had to go no food for 48 hours and shit my guts out with meds they gave me, that was a fun time. results: not cancer, thank god.

Can someone explain the Battlefield 6 portal thingy? Where are all the custom maps? ppl complaining about maps so why aren't there a bunch of custom ones to play? Is it not available yet? is there really no custom servers?
