Obviously, there will always be some terrible people but if we're speaking in generalizations then I don't think I can agree with the sentiment of "Some people don't deserve friends" because "some people" just feels like a slippery slope to agree to.

I have always felt like the answer is "Anyone has a chance of winning as long as they don't try to play dirty" was an underlying message because he did lose a couple of times.
