If PvE didn’t exist, splitting PvP between seasonal/non-seasonal PMCs with separate queues would not be an issue. But, PvE exists, and has significantly split the player-base; splitting PvP a second time is concerning. I think people aren’t realizing when the bulk of casuals gets frustrated dying on their seasonal PMC cuz they’re hard stuck using a small capacity MP5 with pst rounds, or cuz they hardly get any experience from tasks and it’s taking forever to level up their traders, they’ll stop running their seasonal PMC to run raids on their non-seasonal PMC; before, they had no choice, if they want to play tarkov, they return to the queue with everyone else, but now they’re given options which may result in seasonal lobbies becoming quieter, faster. Hope I’m wrong. If seasonal content greatly incentives players to keep queueing their seasonal PMC, this won’t be an issue. If it’s just an achievement, and a couple of new tasks, it won’t be enough. Also, may need to change how we prestige; if Kappa is still required, change some tasks gatekeeping casuals, e.g., Test Drive 1-3, from PMCs to targets; change Insomnia PMC count to 10, from 25; remove shooter 8 and psycho sniper from kappa requirement. Gotta incentivize casuals to keep grinding for kappa instead of them dropping out after they hit level 2, and level 4, traders.
