I didn't like the pick when Lions took Jahmyr Gibbs at 12 back in 2023. I was wrong, it's worked out great. Can certainly see some similarities between Jeremiah Love + Tyler Allgeier, and Jahmyr Gibbs + David Montgomery. But: * There's a big difference between 12th overall and 3rd. For one, total value of contract in 2026 is $26M vs. $53M. * Lions had a top-2 offensive line when they drafted Gibbs. Cardinals had a bottom-3 offensive line last year. * Lions had a franchise QB when they drafted Gibbs. Cardinals do not.

Love the pick by @AZCardinals with Jeremiyah Love. 3 down player that doesn’t need to come off the field on 3rd down. Excellent vision, power, elusiveness, contact balance and he has long field ability to go the distance. Good core identity on offense

If you’re willing to break the record for guaranteed money to a running back, you don’t need to draft one at all. You can just sign an elite back in free agency and use that extremely valuable pick on a position that saves you money. Cardinals get the biggest F- draft grade ever
