The key to changing US Soccer doesn’t begin with tactics or coaching education. It begins with 2 simple principles: 1) Children spending time with the ball at home 2) Children playing tons of 1v1-2v2-3v3s We require less Pep’s and more facilitators for children aged 4-12.

@Don_K_Williams Just another way to get an extra 20-30 kids to pay thousands of dollars to attend a school they will never play for. No coach or recruiting agency who gets a player the 47th spot on a roster is doing them any service and is scamming kids out of other opportunities.

The 40-60 ⚽️ player rosters that is becoming more common in #collegesoccer is often looked at and talked about negatively Many college players feel they’re entitled to playing time (or at least to travel) like they had in club & HS Let’s look at what’s often referred to as a “bloated” #collegesoccer rosters in a different, more positive light for a min There are only 35,000 or so Wsoc college travel spots & available in 🇺🇸 29,000 or so for Msoc Larger rosters (which BTW, no coach really likes managing more kids) make it so at least a few thousand more kids (who aren’t ready to stop being part of an organized ⚽️ team) can go to a school they like & have a place to practice & play a few competitive games It’s basically club ⚽️ with a chance to move up if you want it & the HC want you to Now the parent & player have more school choices to contemplate in calculating the experience, how much 💰 it will cost & gets to shop from a larger variety of college ⚽️ +📚 experiences & they all have different 💵 🏷️ I choose see more choices in life as a good thing Want help figuring this out for a ⚽️ player?
