FFVIX is a narrative focuses game FIRST and an MMO/raiding game second. If you don't like story content, you either need to come to terms with paying for a skip and never commenting on the story quality or purpose EVER. Or you need to find a new game to play. Thats my stance.

I will never understand the mindset that FFXIV jobs get their "identity" based on how many buttons you have to press and how big the hot-bar is. That makes no sense. Who cares if multiple actions are on the same button? You still gotta press something. Evolved mode looks good. 🤷

Hot take, I know. But I am genuinely excited for the Black Flag remake and am glad its not a remaster. The original game holds up just fine, minus some poor QoL with ship combat. So a remaster would have just been a poor cash grab. The remake keeps the good bones but feels fresh.

I don't have the editing skills or anything like that... or energy to argue with youtube commentors tbh. But maybe I should consider making HSR lore essays since it seems like the playerbase desperately needs to be educated.

Not a single person has correctly listed who is and is not an Emanator in HSR that I have seen. And all these lists have the most insane arguments I have ever witnessed by people who just do not read or listen to anything in the story. God why are lore nerds a dying breed...
