Have a producer client signing a production deal w some big names He’s too scared to loop me in the email when he sends back my redlined agreement No response for 4 weeks but he’s too scared to follow up so he tells them he’ll sign the deal as is No response for another 2 weeks Client tells me he “has to do the deal” and I don’t understand how much it means to him…but Im a jerk bc I keep bringing up how bad the deal is! 😭😭😭

Once you realize major label artists only see 16–20% royalties, those million dollar deals really dont look so great Also, the artist has to recoup that million dollars from his or her 20%, while the label takes 80% the whole time!
