I drive a 2017 Hyundai SantaFe now.
I have become a police repellent compared to when I drove my Lexus.
They must assume it's some big Alhaji wife that is inside.
Not once have police stopped me since I started driving this car.
Car profiling is real.

This is why i get tired of these pple. Its dangerous without enlightening the fellow and others. The air in the syringe is dangerous yeah. Why not just say it in that same post rather than wait a while and then update ur followers, engagement farming overriding value these days

@Ol0ye Just few days ago, i was telling someone that seeing every house with solar on their roof shows a failed country! When some section of pple domt want a sector to get better, if the govt tries, what is the assurance that same set of pple wont go against it and maybe vandalize?

Just reviewed this solar panel sellers are pissed. I am sorry, it's not an attack on your business.
People have been selling gens since we were children. I imagine it'll be the same for solar.
But there's no reason why something like electricity that already has a global solution is still rocket science to us.

This country get sun pass us. Not a single residential solar panel in sight even here in one of its most affluent areas. But Nigerians will find a way to make excuses for government failure year after year. Electricity already has a ready made solution. Just copy and paste.

@Ol0ye You need int license, ecowas brown card, insurance, car book. At seme, lasse passe for benin, at hilacodji, lasse passe for togo, at aflao, undertaking for gh, at ivory coast side lasse passd. Benin may be lenient a bit but going deep, get all papers. Dem stubborn oh.

@madonnite @FinPlanKaluAja1 This is very bad decision from him. I have been using solar since 2002 and i do tell pple with small capital is start small, he could start with a small setup for his freezer but many nowadays installer may not advice him so. Too bad.

My neighbor liquidated his investment in the money market to buy solar panels and lithium batteries yesterday, after months of throwing away food due to power outages.
As we chatted this morning, he told me how broke he is right now and that he's currently praying there won't be any serious family emergency until he recovers financially in the next year.

You can't solar your way out of NEPA as a nation
China is doing massive solar because they don't have enough oil, hydro, gas or coal
Nigeria has sufficient untapped oil, gas, hydro and coal
Let the tax collectors provide power.
Note: I am not against solar, but why are you paying taxes if you can't get power?

@IC_Zacs @lifeofdanel You forgot you cant iron or pump water for 10hrs straight too. Those are short time runs... nonetheless cost of running gen is expensive but solar initial setup costs is also overwhelming.

14+ days, no single supply from the grid. If I was buying 10 litres daily (1300/l) just to get about 10 hours of light for these 14 days, that is already 182k in just 2 weeks.

Nepa seems to charge faster coz of constant current unlike sun that fluctuates often based on cloud! But well sized panels does d trick. Why even charge with nepa while having solar? All the elect cost saved while using solar is then charged back by charging the batteries.

Man says even if you install ₦10M solar, sometimes NEPA light still charges it faster than sunlight. Omo… when that sudden NEPA light enters after darkness, the joy is different. 😭 Solar users, is this true or cap? 👀👇

@autocareplusng D rate at which said tokunbo parts in naija are refurbished is alarming. Recently changed my radiator after a leak, wanted same single cell toks but when my friend who has lived here longer than i explained d ish to me, i took his advice & got the double cell. Just so sad

If you own an is250 if it starts steering problems don't waste your money buying Tokunbo. Buy a brand new steering rack it's 400-600k depending on if the car is 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive . But most tokunbo are refurbished or have the same issue

I saw this video on TikTok You just know they rolled back the mileage massively because there's no way a car with 100k miles on it has that much wear and tear. Just look at the steering wheel Guys, always do a proper inspection when purchasing a car

@autocareplusng Cvt is still auto, best way to describe is using the funnel. A belt connected to a funnel at the big side for torque, and when on speed it shifts to the tiny side(high gear). This shift is so smooth that u cant feel it due to the gradient slope design unlike other tranny types

How I go explain CVT gear bayi 🤧
CVT uses belts and pulleys to change gears instead to convert the engine's power to motion while automatic gears are fixed gears that intertwine and control each other to change movement
Basically to create motion CVT doesn't shift gears it continuously adjusts with the belt to keep the engine in the best power or fuel-efficiency range.
You won't feel gear change unlike automatic gear
