How do you stop the masturbation addiction?
Addiction to masturbation is essentially a dopamine loop. From experience, you cannot break it with just willpower. You need a practical and spiritual system.
First of all, you need to apply the Prophetic prescription. The Prophet (peace be upon him) advised young people who cannot get married to fast. This is because fasting physically weakens the driving force of the desire and builds immense spiritual discipline. It trains your body to say "no" to lawful food, which makes it easier to say "no" to unlawful desires.
Secondly, you must starve your triggers. Just as Imam Ibn-l-Qayyim said, the eyes is the window to the soul. Your urge is triggered by what you consume. If you are constantly looking at soft-porn on Instagram, TikTok, or movies, your brain will eventually demand a release. Lower your gaze, both physically and digitally. What you do not feed will eventually starve.
Again, you need to eliminate the environment of sin. The devil thrives in isolation. Most relapses happen when you are alone, bored, and have a screen in your hand. Do not take your phone into the bathroom. Do not stay up late alone in your room with the lights off. Sleep early. If you feel the urge coming, physically leave the room and sit where people are.
Finally, never let Shaytan use your sin to push you away from Allah. Recovery is a journey. If you slip and fall, do not stay on the ground thinking you are a hypocrite. That is exactly what Shaytan wants. Make Wudu immediately, pray two Raka'at of Tawbah, and start again. Allah does not expect you to be flawless; He expects you to keep fighting and returning to Him.
I pray this works for you.
Allah knows best.

What you see right here is what we call spalling. It happens at the joints because concrete needs room to breathe and expand. When dirt or stones get into those gaps, the slabs have no space to move when it gets hot. They end up crushing against the debris and chipping off at the edges.
From what I can see, it looks minor for now, but it is a red flag. A huge amount of money was invested in this project and the painful part is that it has not even been open to heavy traffic yet. If care is not taken, water will start getting under those slabs and wash away the ground beneath. That is when you get real structural failure.
The government needs to clean these joints and seal them properly before the whole section becomes a disaster.

Why would you say I should stop doing it? Did you hear me say that I do it? I actually wanted to talk about the Islamic aspect of it, but I understand it’s a sensitive topic that’s why I said it’s better I stay quiet about it

Wa Alaykum Assalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. I have said it several times, I don't know much. In fact, I know very little. I am only a student of knowledge who prays for more knowledge and wisdom.
Having said that, I will prescribe three books my uncle prescribed for me in 2017 and has helped me till today in this knowledge journey. I still remember when we went to General in Ilorin to get them. I think we spent more than 100k to buy these books and many others to make sure my library was solid. It was a huge investment, but it made the journey real for me.
The first is A Gift for a Muslim Couple by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi. This book is very grounded. It covers the etiquette and the heart of how a husband and wife should live together. It is practical for anyone starting out and helps you understand the mindset needed to build a peaceful home.
The second is The Fragile Vessels by Muhammad al-Jibaly. This is part of a series that focuses on the rights and obligations of Nikkah. It helps you understand the legal and spiritual weight of the contract you are about to sign so you do not go into it blindly.
The third is The Ideal Muslim by Dr. Muhammad Ali al-Hashimi. I recommend this because marriage is ultimately about your own character. It shows how a Muslim should conduct himself with his family and his wife. It reminds you that being a good husband is a huge part of your faith.
Study these with an open heart and they will give you a solid foundation.
Allah knows best.
