I think a lot of KKG fans would benefit from reading by volume rather than by chapter

Now that Rin's gamble is done whoever is next is 100% losing. Like 3 wins in a row for the student council probably won't happen so good luck to whoever is next. I'm betting on Kaede🫡

I really like what this chapter did for Rin's character. Him being jealous of Kanau , a politician, who uses lies to help the people and uses it to move the nation while Rin's lies are just for survival. Him being in the clan has made his lies hollow and only seen as malicious

@Shishi_Odoshii We got 3 more bonus left and one of them will be Yumeko and the other volume cover so we could get a Rin and Ibara in one bonus instead of separate. Or if by some miracle Yumeko doesn't get one and they both get their own. One can only hope🤡

@Angelloreh @szal76702 I think Homura was smart for letting them be nepo babies because it is one way to make some of the student council wins not look like plot armor. Having real valedictorians lose to high schoolers would be kinda weird. I do agree that it would be cooler if they earned thier title

@szal76702 @KyoFal I was also unsure about that. Even if they lost, it would be much cooler if Kinu and Kanau were the best gamblers of their school year, instead of us knowing they got the title just because they’re related to someone.

It seems that everyone but Yuu and Yukihime are just canon fodder for Kabura's plan to strip Kirari's power. That's why she picked the 7th member because she knows that person can beat everyone on the student council so she just wanted fun and picked some randoms to gamble

@szal76702 Also realistically if Kabura chose real valedictorians only Yumeko, Ririka, and maybe Terano would win. It would just be Yumeko gambling against everyone since the others are weaker gamblers

@szal76702 I kinda agree but we have to remember that this is all set up by Kabura and for her entertainment as she is just watching all of this unfold. That's why she has a secret 7th member that she chose because she thinks they can beat everyone. This entire arc is in the palms of Kabura

@Angelloreh I feel kind confident that Kaede will be next and he will lose. Idk who he will face but he will probably lose and develop his relationship more with Itsuki. I'd like to think Ririka and Terano will win but idk anymore. I think a lose for Ririka is better and Terano wins fit them

@KyoFal I hope Karen and Kaede face Yuu and Yukihime, because I don’t want to see Terano and Ririka getting eliminated so early. I didn’t expect Rin to win. But when you think about it, most of them are nepobabies, so it makes sense that they’re pretty average.

I'm glad we are finally seeing Ibara show his skills even tho he didn't fight. He just tanked all of Jun's punches like it was nothing. Hope somehow in the future we can see Ibara actually have a fight. Same with Miroslava since its hinted she can fight too

One thing I hate that people misinterpret about Kakegurui is that all the woman in it are sexualized like no. Out of the cast of 20 woman only 2 are sexualized for reasons. And Midari is way toned down in the manga and shown as crazy. Like the bathroom scene isn't in the manga

@norbbits Yes I love that moment too! I wanna add this panel too as its right after both Mary and Ririka exclaimed that this is Ririka's will. And just the simple smile and blush as she is happy that her sister is gaining her independence🥲

@KyoFal honorable mention to this one too... it's so simple but humanizes kirari so much... one of the rare occasions where we see a side of her that isn't a powerful leader... and she's experiencing a loss for the first time...

These two panels will always make me feel emotional. Momobami twins you are truly special. Kirari setting up the entire election just to free her sister of the shackles the momobami clan set for her. They are now finally different people😭

@samucamon I can somewhat agree with you because Kabura basically wanted to get Yumeko's true pleasure out for gambling, but I just think that Kabura feeling on Tsugiko chest and Yumeko's mother acting way more composed than Yumeko with her addiction could be hinting at future revelations

@KyoFal I don't think Kabura did that intentionally. I think she just allowed Yumeko to indulge on it so much that Yumeko takes a special pleasure on it. Their mom might have been addicted to gambling but she probably also had a life outside of indulging.

I think we need to discuss the possibility that Kabura groomed Yumeko into being more sexual when it comes to gambling. The way she treated Tsugiko in that panel and her having custody of Yumeko, she could have taught her some things😬Yumeko is shown way differently than her mom
