@ImExNihilo Well personally I have Dalglish and Gerrard clearly above Salah, for the reason that they (more or less) spent their entire careers at Liverpool and overall gave more.
To answer your question I wouldn't view it as disrespectful, but definitely ill judged.

It's to disrespectful at all. The six above him are all icons of the club.
Barnes and Rush were both here for considerably longer times, and Souness is our most successful captain ever.
It's high praise to be in the same conversations as these players.
