Welcome to the neighborhood, Slabtown Square! Nestled in the heart of NW Portland, Slabtown is a recently completed eight-level, seven-story, mixed-use residential building with underground parking. Anchored by a 16,000-square-foot public square, Slabtown Square offers a vibrant living experience. The thoughtfully designed apartments come in various sizes, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. The ground floor features retail spaces, bike storage, and activated lobby space. Slabtown Square features 160 market-rate units and 40 reduced-rent units for individuals earning up to 80% of the median area income. Residents can enjoy community amenities such as two fitness centers, a library, a game room, and a rooftop Sky Kitchen. It was a beautiful day in Pendleton last Friday as we celebrated the Grand Opening of South Hill Commons! This community features 70 affordable housing units spread across four residential buildings, a group home, and a centrally located community building. The community building houses a multi-purpose room, kitchen, and meeting space. Outdoors, residents can enjoy raised garden beds, a play area, and picnic seating scattered throughout the property. Join us in welcoming Powellhurst Place to the neighborhood! Powellhurst Place is a new 65-unit affordable housing community developed by Northwest Housing Alternatives, situated in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood of outer SE Portland. Powellhurst Place features 46 two-bedroom units geared towards families and 12 units dedicated to permanent supportive housing for individuals who are experiencing houselessness. The complex features amenities such as a community room, a playground, a landscaped courtyard, secure bicycle storage, Energy Star appliances, and ductless mini-split heating and cooling systems. Residents will benefit from on-site property management and tailored support services provided by Northwest Housing Alternatives and the Native American Rehabilitation Association.
