UPDATE: The humpback whale freed himself in the night, we wake up this morning to find him no longer on the sandbar. Later he was spotted further out in the Bay of Lübeck. We hope he is okay and just gathering his wits/strength after terrifying predicament.

@cirnosad Have you served on 1? 600 is definitely not enough. We make do because we’ve always made do & that’s not good enough anymore. We are living in a cloud if we. Think 2 carriers, 1 of which is still in dock is enough in the current climate. Time we stopped kidding ourselves

The 🇬🇧 HMS Queen Elizabeth is anything but a toy. It's a SVTOL carrier built around the F-35B. It doesn't need a crew of 4,000+, just ~600 will do. It's also not nuclear powered making it much safer.
