UCM camp is a wrap. Competed (for the most part🤨), played 13 games in three days😳, and no injuries🙌🏻. Got lots of compliments on our energy and effort. Very proud of this group. ALL IN!!!☘️🏀

The 2021-2022 edition of Lady Irish basketball came to a close tonight falling to Chillicothe 52-45. So much heart in this bunch, it’s inspiring. This team will forever a special place in my heart. ALL IN!!!🍀🏀

Lady Irish overcome a sluggish start to get past Savannah for the second time in three days 51-24 in the first round of district play. When we defend like that, we are tough. It’s a new season, why not us? Stay hungry.🍀🏀

Back on the winning side!!! Lady Irish go on the road and take care of business against Savannah 54-26. Lady Irish finish the regular season with a 15-11 record. The best finish in four years but we’re not done. Stay hungry.🍀🏀

Lady Irish came out on the wrong side of a 47-36 game against St. Pius. But it was really good to see us fighting and competing every step of the way. Especially on Katie’s Night (senior night). Thank you Katie for four great years. You’ve been through it all.🍀🏀

🚨Senior Night🚨 Between the JV and V games tonight of @LafLadyIrish, we will be honoring our lone senior, Katie Koelzer! Katie has a stop at K-State next year, where she will be competing on their 🚣‍♀️ team. She’s kept that a 🤫. Secret, ruined! My bad.

The Lady Irish take it on the chin against a very good Chillicothe team 53-24. We were missing the energy, effort, and enthusiasm needed to beat top tier teams. Still growing and learning.🍀🏀

Rough week for the Lady Irish. Lost to Benton on Tuesday 52-34 and tonight lost to Leblond 74-44. Two teams playing extremely well at the right time of the year. Just revealed what we need to improve on. If you’re not winning, you’re learning. Back to work!!!🍀🏀

WINWINWIN!!! I’m only the second home game of the season, the Lady Irish grind out a tough win against East Buch 32-21. Points were hard to come by but we showed again why defense is so important. Gutty effort by this group.🍀🏀

Hang a W!!! Lady Irish take a trip to KC to battle Center and come out on top 61-29. Maybe as good of a game as we’ve played in a while. Shot the ball well and ran the floor even better. @ByrdTalicia and @JazlynKing3 with career highs of 19 and 17 respectively. ALL IN!!!🍀🏀

Great game for the spectators. A back and forth affair, but the Lady Irish come up short 53-50 vs. Hiawatha. We have to show more discipline on both sides of the ball. Must rededicate ourselves to being a hard nosed, defensive team. ALL IN!!!🍀🏀

Back in the win column!!! Lady Irish walk into Excelsior Springs and come out with a win 56-17. Moved the ball well to find the best shot. ALL IN means making the extra pass. Good team win!!!🍀🏀

Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug. Tonight, we were the bug. Lady Irish lose 43-27 to a tough Ray South team. We have to be better, and we will be. We will learn and grow. ALL IN!!!🍀🏀

Well, we’ll wake up in the morning with work to do. Lady Irish lose to Liberty 36-25 in the second round of the Kearney Tournament. Defense played well, offense looked clunky and out of sorts. Lick our wounds and place for 3rd place on Friday.🍀🏀
