The last day of the Internship Programme featured PPT presentations by the interns, who shared their insights and learnings from the programme. Certificates were then awarded by our Director, Shri Kaushick Saha, IAS, marking a memorable conclusion to this enriching journey.

Day 14 of the Internship Programme featured a session on the Language Atlas Project of Language Division. Interns were introduced to publications that illustrate the demographic distribution of language speakers across the country for each decennial census.

Day 12 of the Internship Programme included a session on the MTSI project by the Language Division, followed by a revision and hands-on practice with PRAAT. Both sessions were highly interactive, and interns gained valuable skills and practical experience.

Day 11 of the Internship Programme included a session on the Linguistic Survey of India project by the Language Division, ORGI. Students gained a comprehensive overview of the survey and its significant impact on linguistic research in India.

आज हमारे कार्यालय में हिंदी पखवाड़ा के अंतर्गत आशु भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतिभागियों को मौके पर ही विषय दिए गए, जिन पर उन्होंने पूरे उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास के साथ अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। कर्मचारियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी ने कार्यक्रम को सफल और सार्थक बनाया।

Day 10 of the Internship Programme included a session on G.A. Grierson and his landmark work 'Linguistic Survey of India.' Students explored his detailed study of Indian languages and gained valuable insights into his extensive classification of linguistic diversity.

Day 9 of the Internship Programme included a session on the Tibeto-Burman language family. The topic inspired thoughtful questions and strong interest, resulting in an enriching and memorable experience for all participants.

भाषा प्रभाग में हिन्दी पखवाड़े का उद्घाटन नियंत्रण अधिकारी एवं DCO,WB निदेशक श्री कौशिक साहा, IAS द्वारा हुआ। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत माननीय गृहमंत्री श्री अमित शाह जी के संदेश से हुई। निदेशक महोदय ने हिन्दी के अधिक प्रयोग के लिए प्रेरित किया।
