I wonder if U Conn is going to get a whistle in their favor today? I think Coach K is back.

U can be sure that hitters will like the ABS way more than pitchers will. MANY MANY pitches out of the zone have been called strikes for years. Not even debatable.

How can the Yankees be plus money to win their division? I am all over that! They are probably the second best team in MLB.

Second baseman JJ Wetherholt has made the St. Lous Cardinals' Opening Day roster after a strong camp and is near the front of a loaded National League Rookie of the Year race. Wetherholt, Nolan McLean, Sal Stewart, Carson Benge, Bubba Chandler -- and, eventually, Konnor Griffin.

Can anybody explain to me why Clemson did not foul sooner and lost 20 seconds on the deal?

Been at ESPN a long time - this one was an all timer. Before social media, it was as viral as a story can be. I watched it on a tape in the news room. I couldn’t stop watching his teammates.

19 years ago, a high school basketball coach put his team manager into a game for the final four minutes. The kid had never played a single minute of competitive basketball in his life. He scored 20 points. Jason McElwain was diagnosed with severe autism at age two. He didn’t speak until he was five. He couldn’t chew solid food until he was six. He wore a nappy for most of his early childhood. As a baby, he was rigid, wouldn’t make eye contact, and hid in corners away from other children. He tried out for his school basketball team every year and got cut every time. Too small. Too slight. Barely 5’6 and about 54 kilograms. But he loved the game so much that his mum called the school and asked if there was any way he could be involved. The coach created a team manager role for him. For three years, McElwain showed up to every practice and every game. He wore a shirt and tie on match days. He ran drills, handed out water, kept stats, and cheered every basket like he’d scored it himself. On 15 February 2006, the last home game of his final school year, the coach let him suit up in a proper jersey and sit on the bench. With four minutes left and a comfortable lead, the coach sent him in. His first shot missed. His second missed. Then something shifted. He hit a three-pointer. Then another. Then another. His teammates stopped shooting entirely and just kept passing him the ball. He hit six three-pointers and a two-pointer. 20 points in four minutes. The highest scorer in the game. When the final buzzer went, the entire crowd rushed the court and lifted him onto their shoulders. His mum tapped the coach on the shoulder, in tears. “This is the nicest gift you could have ever given my son.” McElwain won the ESPY Award for Best Moment in Sports that year, beating out some of the biggest names in professional sport. He’s 36 now. He works at a local supermarket, coaches basketball, has run 17 marathons including five Boston Marathons, and travels the country speaking about never giving up. When asked about that night, his coach still gets emotional. “For him to come in and seize the moment like he did was certainly more than I ever expected. I was an emotional wreck.”

Is Smoltz really comparing the winner of this series to the Miracle On Ice? I'm a baseball person but let's calm down John.

Steven A is wrong 4 being irate over the ejection of Jaylen Brown by an official not directly involved in the controversial call. He's forgetting an important thing. He has NO IDEA what Brown said to the official. Certain words call for an automatic ejection. Case closed!!!!

Wanted to keep this on EVERYONE'S radar. Remember Guy Rivera, the individual who shot and killed Officer Jonathan Diller? This week, he goes on trial. And here's an important reminder. Because of her anti-police policies, Governor Kathy Hochul was refused entry by Officer Diller's family to his services. President Trump, on the other hand, was escorted right in the door. To be clear... Rivera had 21 arrests, yet was still on the street thanks to Democrat policies. REPOST for exposure! #thinblueline #lawenforcement

It is not such a good idea to throw judge the same pitch three times in a row. Mexico just found that out.

Skenes has seven pitches. Normally, that would be way too many for a pitcher. But there's not anything normal about this guy. He is super!

Knicks are down by 10 with 125 left. Lakers inbound the ball. Why on Earth do the Knicks not foul intentionally? Absurd.

That home run by Aaron judge was not a homer. It was an event! My gosh that man is strong. I have no problem with players like that making big bucks. I have a prob with the guy who makes three mill per year and stinks up the joint. AJ deserves every penny.

DWade says LeBron cost him Finals MVP after Heat went up 2-1 in 2011 and LBJ disappeared in 4,5 & 6. Says he tried to snap LBJ out of it, couldn’t. NO CLUTCH GENE. CHOKED. FROZE. LBJ DISQUALIFIED HIMSELF FROM GOAT DEBATE. MJ NEVER EPIC FAILED.

Hello @pamelam35 Can U plz answer 1 ? If in any NFL or CFB game I have an opportunity to lay 2.5 pts and take 3.5 points, do you think I would finish ahead in the long run? Providing the juice is not more than 115 on each. Sincerest thanks. P.S. Just strictly your opinion.

Ditched my earbuds for a book on treadmill walks (too cold outside). No podcasts on 2x, no music. Just me flipping pages. Three 20-minute walks a day. Already on my second book this week. Even reading on the StairMaster. I feel less scrambled. Something about holding a real book grounds me. My brain feels quieter and my stress feels lower. My creativity feels like it’s coming back. I’ve been writing again, actually writing - handwritten notes. I'm sleeping better and even waking up earlier without an alarm. Slowing down is doing more for me than speeding up ever did.
