This afternoon I attended a community meeting in Molendinar Community Centre - one that had to be called because the UK Labour Government has slashed funding to St Paul’s Youth Forum, putting the future of the centre in jeopardy.

Our deep clean teams are continuing across the City & have been in Cranhill, Tollcross, and Anderston areas removing weeds, detritus, overgrowth & litter. The ongoing deep cleans are part of the £7m investment in 200 new staff to help tackle the priorities of Glasgow residents.

Our overnight street cleaning teams have been out in Govan, Pollokshields and Langside removing weeds, lifting grime and clearing up verges and gutters. It's part of a £7m investment in 200 new staff for streets & parks.
