The Parish Development Model (PDM) is Uganda's flagship poverty eradication program aimed at moving households from subsistence farming into the money economy. He has described PDM as an "earth shaker" that will boost agricultural production and household wealth. The President frequently emphasizes that government can build roads and infrastructure, but households must actively create wealth through productive enterprises. 📊 Key Numbers Targets approximately 3.5 million households transitioning from subsistence to a monetized economy.
