BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

@DaleJohnsonBBC Right. There's no consternation about the decisions on merit, whether you give it one way the other. But it feels grating in the extreme that pundits are trying to say that sort of inconsistency is acceptable. He can't give one and not the other. Maddening.

@DaleJohnsonBBC Dale come off it they are both clear penalties, only difference is United would have gone 2-0 up had VAR done it's job.

@nqatpod Aren't there still 74 charges outstanding? I know each case should be judged on its own merit but possible further sanctions on the way and perhaps influencing punishment? If this is all they get, I agree, it's pathetic.

Given the scale of the breaches here a £10m fine feels very lenient. Dozens of extra payments not reported. Players signed who might not have been otherwise. Sporting advantage gained.

Also, if I see Dalot commit a foul in the opposing corner of the pitch like that again, I'm petitioning for him to be sacked. It sounds minor, but you have to sustain attacks, especially against ten men. Pulling Gordon's shirt is fucking stupid. Gives them an out.

I've been his biggest critic. He continues to frustrate me, given so many of his errors are simple ones. But he has been good recently. He is surprisingly quick and is remembering how to defend so maybe I need a slice of humble pie. Just be better in final third, I beg.
