May 5 (yesterday) is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two Spirit People. You may know of it as Red Dress Day. Red dresses are a symbol of the lives lost and you are probably familiar with seeing them on display.

And a big shoutout to the staff at Port Stanley Library who saw 1,500 people come through the doors yesterday leading up to the eclipse!

They are the smiling people who greet you every day, the walking book recommendations, the creative minds behind the fun and interesting programs that are delivered to you all, and the staff who keep us open and running!

This Family Day show off your own DIY Family Tree that you make at the Family Craft Night at the Rodney Library on Thursday, February 15 from 4 to 6pm! This program is FREE!

After School Antics at Dutton Library will be making a Valentine's Day craft 4:30-5:30pm! After the Bell Kids Club at West Lorne Library will be having fun with shaving cream and food colouring to make custom cards 4 - 5pm!

Creative and fun programs this Thursday for your children to enjoy either at the Dutton, West Lorne or Rodney Libraries. All programs are drop in and available FREE to all. We look forward to seeing you! Valentine's Day Heart Spinners at Rodney Library 4 - 6pm!
