@melanji To me it just comes down to how Riot views Valorant’s identity longterm. They nerfed Neon movement which tells me they dont want movement mechanics to be a large part of the game. Agent bans would force adaptation in a way that is less controlled and idk if Riot wants that.

at what point in VALORANT do we entertain agent bans? to clarify: agents bans =/= draft. i've played in draft tourneys and, while fun, imo it would just make pro play too random i think 1 agent ban would force just enough agent mastery w/o completely throwing VCT into chaos

@_Braizen No. Wemby’s defensive impact on the floor is literally all time. He is legit the greatest rim protector ever and while his offensive game is still pretty raw he still averaged 27 this series while not having consistent spots to go to like SGA. Wemby is the best player in the NBA.

@EmbiidAmputee IMO 1-4 can be in any order Giannis/Jokic/Luka/Wemby just depends who you want and what you value. SGA is 5 for me. I dont really care about the flopping but to me Luka/Jokic are better offensive players and equal defenders while Giannis is more well rounded.

@CDLDramaCentral Disagree. Merc had a below average series and they still took LAT to 7. That shows the team can help carry when he has off maps. Huke was 2k below him in Damage as well. This was definitely a team loss and their talent is what allowed them to compete.

Hot take, Merc is like what Simp is for FaZe Team needs him to perform in order to win the series. Not a sustainable way of playing.

@LakersEmpire Just depends on what the Lakers want their identity to be. At this point i dont really think they have a choice. For the sake of chemistry and his offensive skillset i think you have to sign him. But with Luka/AR as the backcourt you know its gonna be a shootout every night

@LakersLead Need athleticism/3&D defense thats it. Need to adapt to Luka’s playstyle more. Rui/Luka/AR stay, Kennard/Smart/Hayes as solid bench players, and its up to Bron what he does. Adou has potential but needs to be more than just energy, give DK/Bronny a shot, and everyone else can go.

@LakeShowYo Offensively elite but too many mental mistakes and defense isnt great. He tries on defense and i can respect that but hes just not very good. Luka, AR, and Rui + 2 athletic defensive PNR bigs and Smart leading a deeper bench should be how they approach the offseason.
