THIS PLAY CHANGED THE ENTIRE #NFL SEASON: If this call went in the #Rams way… they likely would have won the Super Bowl instead of the #Seahawks. This was one of the most controversial calls of the season and completely changed the entire season. 😱

Did a deep dive into the new lottery format to see just how bad it really is.
1-3: 5.4% @ 1st pick (Floor of pick 12)
4-10: 8.1% @ 1st pick
11-14: 5.4% @ 1st pick
15-16: 2.7% @ 1st pick
1-3 & 11-14: (2 balls)
4-10: (3 Balls)
15-16: (1 Ball)
Pool Total: 37 Lotto balls

Where this really benefits vs the current system is for spots 7-10. Current lotto odds for 7 are 6.8% and the new system will raise that up to 8.1% at 1st pick. Despite being co-favorites to win the lotto, 4-6 will have lower odds in this new system than they do now.

The "3-2-1 lottery" proposal, named to represent the number of lottery balls per team, would expand the lottery from 14 to 16 teams. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs or play-in tournament but stay out of the relegation zone (spots four through 10) would receive three lottery balls each. Teams with a bottom-three record -- the relegation zone -- would have just two lottery balls but have a floor of the 12th pick while the rest of the 13 lottery teams could fall as far as the 16th pick. The 9th and 10th play-in seeds in each conference receive two lottery balls each while the losers of the 7-8 play-in games receive one lottery ball each. In addition, no team would be able to win the top pick in consecutive years or be able to win three consecutive top-five picks. Teams also would not be able to protect picks in the 12 to 15 slots going forward.

Nobody likes losing Adam. The league is structured, with new CBA and apron system that the only way to improve was through the draft. That has now been taken away. So now youre actually going to see more consistent losing, since the system is now even more favoring large markets.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said on a recent Competition Committee call, according to sources: "We should have a system where you should hate to lose. It shouldn't be a badge of honor. Losing should be uncomfortable." The new change is not as drastic as relegation to a lower league -- but a penalty for being at the bottom. Many league executives understand this may be an overcorrection, but one the majority believes is necessary.

The San Antonio Spurs have a ridiculously fun young core, but De’Aaron Fox has had a massively underrated season. And he’s been dynamite today. Just a steady hand for this offense when his team has needed it.

If they get him to do Yoga/Stretching/maybe even ballet he’s going to awaken into an even bigger beast.
Right now his hips are extremely stiff. If they can get him a little looser, it’s going to be insane.
