It all started with a student asked if I like chips. Of course I say yes. Next thing I know, as nerves for hosting the talent show build up, I receive a hand crafted bag with chips of compliments and good lucks in it. These students surely know how to put a smile on my face.

Sometimes as educators we get so caught up getting things completed that we neglect what the ss need sometimes. Instead of doing a normal brainstorm, we did a walk n’ talk to discuss what makes books good to prepare for writing reviews! @DAAElementary #activelearning

I love this idea for activating thinking and prior knowledge! This concept can totally be adapted for different content areas, too! What a great way to push thinking!
