Denver's Peyton Watson is expected to return Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing 6+ weeks due to a hamstring strain, sources tell ESPN. Watson has had a breakout year for the Nuggets, averaging career highs of 14.9 points, 30.7 minutes and 4.9 rebounds to go with 2 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1 steal per game.

Didier Fuentes has made the Atlanta Braves’ Opening Day roster and at 20 years old will be part of their bullpen — and he earned it. Fuentes’ numbers this spring: nine innings, no hits, no runs, no walks, 17 strikeouts. He was too good for the Braves to deny and is a huge talent.

Heston Kjerstad has a right hamstring strain, Craig Albernaz said. Kjerstad suffered the injury Thursday. He will get imaging in Baltimore tomorrow. So both Kjerstad and Beavers are both dealing with injuries.
