My family surname was first recorded in the late 1100’s when the wealthy started using them.
My Great Grandfather fought in WW1.
My Grandfather was a pilot in WW2, he lost his 3 brothers in the war, I never knew them.
My Great Grandmother never recovered from the loss.
My Father was a pilot in the RAF for 20 years.
My mother was in the WRAF until she was pregnant with me.
My husband’s recent family history is similar to mine but has Scottish on his Mothers side.
We are not the face of Modern Britain to @Keir_Starmer or his government.
My children are not the face of Modern Britain, their safety and future is irrelevant to him.
My family history replaceable and erasable, our contribution deemed worthless.
I am at a complete loss for words to describe how I feel at this moment; to say I have never felt more betrayed in my life is an understatement.
If it wasn’t clear before that we need to #RestoreBritain, it certainly is now. We absolutely must make it happen.
