Dylan Moore, RN, delivered an insightful presentation at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD)® @AASLDtweets #TLM25, highlighting innovative strategies to improve access to hepatitis C care. His session, “Mobile HCV RNA Testing in Action: Point-of-Care Enabled Diagnosis and SVR Confirmation to Drive Field-Based HCV Elimination,” demonstrated how mobile point-of-care testing is transforming real-world HCV care delivery. Key takeaways included: • Same-day RNA Results Accelerate Treatment Start, Even Amid Medicaid Policy Barriers • Policy Reform and Funding are Essential to Enable Same-Day Treatment Initiation and Program Scale • Mobile POC RNA testing Reaches High-Risk, Hard-to-Reach Populations • Field Concordance Confirms Reliability of the Cepheid Platform VEN’s mobile testing approach is reshaping hepatitis C care by expanding access, accelerating diagnosis, and ensuring patients receive timely follow-up. Dylan closed with an inspiring reminder that we must all “Believe” to make the vision of hepatitis C elimination possible. We are inspired by Dylan’s leadership and remain committed to supporting innovative solutions that advance liver health across Arizona and beyond.
