Good morning! Welcome to day 3 of #LK9. Join us for the semi-plenary session at the Academy building at 11:00 with Chris Manion and others about the ideas fund. After our closing plenary (12:00-12:30), there will be a packed lunch in the coffee corner (Academy building). See you!

Wonderful to end the day with a delicious dinner and a relaxing boat trip on the Paterswoldsemeer. See you tomorrow everyone!

We will conclude today's #LK9 sessions with an answer on the #QOTD. Many people will probably agree with Philipp Hummer when he says: "Living Knowledge not only connects people from all over the world, but also the past and the present."

Science and art, not everyone would expect that combination. Yet these themes went hand in hand during today's parallel sessions. Just look at how different all posters were at the poster session. They are both informative and beautiful 😉

How and why should you visualize your research projects? @LaureGarancher from The Ink Link, Saskia Visser and Jan-Philipp Bussmann talked about the power of illustrations. People were invited to illustrate one of their own projects as a way to start a conversation. #LK9

Inspiring talks by people from the Living Lab Network on indigenous resurgence on the West Coast of Canada. About land-based learning, eco-cultural restoration and art as an accessible form to reach people and create awareness. #LK9

A quick reminder that tonight the welcoming reception will take place at 17:00 in the Akerk (Akerkhof 2). Our university’s president Jouke de Vries will formally open our conference. 🎉

We had a promising opening today of #LK9 with an introduction of the Groningse Science Shops and a talk and discussion with Rowinda Appelman @CityDealKM and Kate Morris @campus_engage on setting up and getting the right people involved in community-based research.

For those who are joining the dinner matching tonight, please get your dinner ticket before the lunch break ends. And please do come to the restaurant tonight, so we don’t have any empty seats. 🍽 😄

Good morning! Welcome to day 1 of #LK9. At 09:00 we will start with our first plenary at the Academy Building (Broerstraat 5). After a warm-up session by our local team, we will talk about Synergies in Public Engagement and Co-Creation. See you within an hour!

Tomorrow #LK9 officially kicks off, but today some of us already joined the pre-conference summer schools on the concept of the Science Shop and community-based participatory research.
