I am sick of serving in Congress with immoral freaks who abuse their office and bring dishonor to the institution. Congress is rotted to the core and it needs a complete overhaul. The American people deserve better than this.

So tonight we did a thing, my daughter and I. She made a presentation at my local patriots' club as a favor to me. Unfortunately, she did it without an interpreter, but it was very well received. I read her speech while she signed. Then she took questions. I'm overwhelmed by the true patriots in our community. We all desperately want to take back our country!

True. That children will align with their teachers over their parents has been the case for multiple generations. We teach them early on that a teacher is an authority figure to be respected, but sometimes fail to teach them that a teacher, law enforcement officer, minister, etc., is human and, like the rest of us, flawed.

Teenagers are sharing photos of their AP U.S. Government textbooks, and the sheer amount of indoctrination is wildly disturbing. Apparently, Barack Obama is ideologically a right wing authoritarian. Hillary Clinton and George W Bush are entirely indistinguishable politically. Jeff Bezos EARNED his billions. (I am not one of his fans.) America is about fair/equal treatment of its citizens. Therefore, Mr. Bezos should pay the same percentage that you or I do. Taxes are meant to support only the things outlined in The Constitution. If you actually cared about America, you would be promoting removal of funding for anything else. This is not an income problem; it is an outflow problem!

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

You'll get no backlash from me. My 8 is to support the freedom of speech that X provides, including those who see things differently than I. However, many do not have $8/mo to spare. I would have ever known of several Patriots, including you & your impressive daughter had it not been for X, and that would be a shame!

A blue check mark on X can be obtained for $8 per month. I don't care what I get from X as much as I care about supporting a great company that benefits all who participate. Is $8 too much for that? I'm just curious why everyone who interacts does not pay $8? (*Preparing myself for the backlash.*)

I don’t know how to put it into words, but as I was in church this morning looking at my kids, my wife, my parents… all together I realized that this entire time, as I was running as fast as I could away from God, he has been relentlessly chasing me. The whole time.
