@CannaVestments @WeedStreet420 The clip presents an argument for "cost savings for the US" as part of medical reasons for seniors (who might be least supportive of reform within the GOP base) to be open minded about hemp-derived CBD. IMO if the trial balloon was for non-hemp mj it would have been clear

@kelkun @WeedStreet420 "Longs with capital" won't play in this space as long as a single ETF manager determines the price action in irrational ways like bidding up bankrupt companies and selling the strongest performers. Who would want to hang their career on that? S3 alone doesn't fix that

Nothing is going to change until the longs with capital defend instead of hanging their head in shame while getting laughed at hysterically. The shorts don't have giant capital either yet they are always there to defend their position. Until then, I keep having to carry a short on the ETF to protect against my calls. Otherwise I'd get eviscerated on these pullbscks.

@BalanJason No it doesn't need to be a disaster Not paying any attention to LeVell. Trump's advisors are his Cabinet

@LogicPrevails_ “No”, he didn’t say that? Or, “no” you aren’t buying the possible LeVell signal?

Trump admin is going to table S3 via administrative action - He isn't going to take a Biden initiative over the finish line. Has to be his doing + to his credit only - S3 via admin action hurts the budget by getting rid of 280E. New taxes & regs have to come from Congress $MSOS

@jamiecampbell If Trump wants medical through Congress, you think he wouldn't get it? These guys aren't in charge anymore...

@LogicPrevails_ So then it definitely won't get done? That excise is going to make anything DOA for a long time to come.

@GiuseppediCiro Disagree. Excise tax makes the legal market uncompetitive with illicit, but not if enforcement puts illicit out of business

@LogicPrevails_ Only one MSO is paying 280e, the majority don't believe it's applicable so they aren't paying it or have sought refunds. Bottom line Trump admin can "replace" 280e with an excise tax but it can't replace it 1 for 1 otherwise it's a death nail for the industry.

@Ballsofsteel991 @WeedStreet420 He doesn't have the authority to deschedule. That would have to come from Congress. A possible outcome is that canna will be rescheduled to S3 but with enforcement and penalties for any non-S3 activities (i.e. rec or "medical" without DEA registration)

I really like the Newswire Indicator. These are companies who are so busy not making any money, that they spend all their time publishing "news announcements" about all the things their "launching", while they're just frauds on their way to zero. Pay attention. You'll see...

I certainly have no love for the Dank Informer, but mark my words: Cohodes is going to be an albatross for $GLASF. Having a guy like Joe Pesci's character from GoodFellas as a mouthpiece for your company is not a recipe for good things long term.

@MidlifeCap It's in the common's interest to force cash redemption if the stock trades >$12 but that is a 60 day VWAP threshold so by day 59 any rational pref holder would exercise conversion to get shares for $9 And maybe mgmt will do what's best for themselves as size owners of prefs...

@LogicPrevails_ Honest question: it is entirely in the companies interest to force convert at $12 if possible, right? And the terms of the prefs got worse if the shares climb to at less that $17 in 5 years. Seems to me this better aligns pref holder incentives with the commons?

Say in 4yrs $GLASF goes to $50 and the prefs go away: - pre-refi, prefs would have gotten another 4yrs of 10% div (40%) + 12.5% PIK (50%+) + par (100%) = 190%+ - post-refi, they get 4yrs of 12% div (48%) + shares worth $50 at a cost of $9 (556%) = 604% Common holders pay this
Knox Marlow@KnoxMarlow

@LogicPrevails_ @meagain249350 @WolfOfWeedST 1/ It depends how you view it. Pref investors exchanged a security yielding 20% (10% cash 10% PIK) for a security yielding 12% (cash). That’s a lower-yielding instrument and better for common, worse for the pref.

@Lifeisshort8888 Disagree. All he has to do it say he's putting it to Congress and wants an excise tax for law enforcement and to fund FDA regulation. That would be much more popular with his base and I think with centrists too

@Lifeisshort8888 I don't think voters care at all about its federal scheduling. That is an issue for businesses and investors Voters defied Trump on Amendment 3 and he doesn't like to lose. Why take the political risk on this? I don't see evidence of it being nearly as popular as polls suggest

@Lifeisshort8888 I am not saying rescheduling isn't possible under Trump but that if he does anything it will be through Congress / his own initiative. I know Cole said he would address the outstanding proceeding. Did he say he would determine in favor of it or against it?
