I was selected for CPD audit 2years into my dietetic reg. I changed job midway and found the process quite daunting! Since being audited I: -Log my CPD end of the month with date+description -Record reflection of how CPD improved my practice and patient care in my 1-1s/appraisal

@LongLiPro I have no idea about EDI. NG, PN and OD are everyday terminologies in hospital setting. Even most patients would know. No clue on EDI. Does EDI stands for Eating Disorder Inventory? I google it.😬 still not sure

Looking back at an utterly ignorant tweet I posted over a year ago—such a clear example of privilege and exclusion! Overusing acronyms is not inclusive, and we can’t just assume everyone knows them. Grateful to have learned this lesson as I continue to grow and progress!

@LongLiPro It's not exclusion it's basic and this is it they don't know but should - responsibility- if they don't know the problem is higher up and isn't filtering down into education. I.e people with know what 'NG' is or 'PN', 'OD' thangs - but not 'EDI'. Not on the fence.
