@TheRunningManZ @maruksp Regardless, I personally don't agree with those complaining about the price of Frostline. A full game costs $60-80 U.S. This was an entire official map that will grow and update regularly by the devs. These same people whining are probably also paying for skins on Fortnight.

Does Bohemia not make money from the renting of community servers? According to Battle Metrics there are approx 232 official servers and 16,506 community ones. A lot will be privately hosted, the numbers may be way off. But a lot of the popular servers are rented and cost lots of money. Just for example an 82 slot server with Nitrado for DayZ for one year costs £646.93 to rent that server from them for the year. Fragnet charge $45 per month for a 70 slot server. That is just about enough for a 60 slot server and a queue. Surely Nitrado/Fragnet etc must be passing on a commision to you guys for the sales they make? Along with the other approved server hosters? If not is that not a big miss? You'd expect that an awful lot of the funding of the fewere official servers could come from the money made on people paying to host community ones on DayZ. I ask given that you provided a breakdown of how much Bohemia made per hour on peoples play time. Surely this is another revenue stream beyond the person that bought the game in 2014 that is ongoing and not part of your breakdown at 10c per hour of play.

Did you know that 8 million users for whom we have data on Steam played for an average of 188 hours and paid an average of 30 USD gross in #Dayz? That means we received less than 10 cents for an hour of live online gaming, for which we host the online infrastructure and have been updating it for 10+ years. Yet Dayz Frostline is currently being review-bombed on the same platform for being too expensive: $26.99 for "just a map," and some users demand "gimme more for less money." Hmm. Please Please Me.
