Richmond NSW last night, footage is "Fly Around" breaking down with a fractured left wrist. 90 days incapacitation if they don't kill her. She had reached nearly 70 km/h when her suffering began. Predictable, inevitable suffering on the Richmond and other tracks, day after day after day. The report notes a large kangaroo was trying to escape and exited from the infield while the race was running. Unclear from the footage I have seen if the greyhounds spotted the roo and were distracted. Kangaroos are an ongoing serious risk for both the greyhounds and the kangaroos at Richmond - will post about separately shortly. The censoring of footage by GRNSW is inconsistent and often makes no sense. This replay is not currently available on the GRNSW website and has been edited to remove the awkward looking parts on other sites. These familiar and always shocking images provide further important evidence of a pattern of abuse and suffering inflicted on greyhounds in NSW on a daily basis. These images are further evidence of unsafe NSW tracks and the serious risks faced by greyhounds when running on these tracks. GRNSW claims to prioritise animal welfare. These images, and many others like them, do not support those claims. Footage credit: GRNSW. 🆘🆘 FUJI APPLE (ID 247571), 6 YO, MALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 2/14/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- landlord won't allow. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 3/28/26 ➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 41 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ FUJI APPLE IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 A volunteer writes: With a comprehensive and detailed list in paw, Fuji Apple came prepared to review each and every point with me. I love a cat who comes prepared! And to be perfectly honest, I love how he kind of assumed I wasn't. I listened to him and waited, which is what I think all Fuji Apple really wanted. When he realized I was ready to go along with his ideas, he temporarily set it aside to go with the flow Fuji Apple style. Leaning his head into my hand for pets and gently nuzzling, Fuji Apple's looking for a friend. He's actually been looking for one for a little while now. Brought to us with other cats, Fuji Apple was left here without much else information. He is, however, ready for a fresh start with you. Fuji Apple tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to his new home. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke @mehser12 💔😿🙏Thank you

Trail hunting is set to be banned, delivering a key manifesto commitment. Today we open our public consultation on how to take the ban forward. The consultation will run until 18 June. Watch Baroness Hayman explain more about the consultation, and why it’s so important ⬇️

Went for a quick nap and ended up sleeping for 6 weeks. Sorry. Have I missed much?

🆘🆘 LILLY (ID 247733), 3 YO, FEMALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an aco - owner surrender on 2/16/2026, with the surrender reason stated as animal behavior - aggressive towards people. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 3/28/26 ➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 39 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ LILLY IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS -She is not thriving in the care center and continues to display challenging behavior during interactions. Lilly has a lot of energy and is very quick to overstimulate with handling. She would benefit from interactive play at a safe distance so that she can expend her energy constructively, such as puzzle toys, lick mats, cat dancers and fishing pole type toys, etc. Lilly is social and interested in people but only tolerates brief petting before swatting/nipping, which could potentially result in bite/scratch incidents. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. A volunteer writes: Lilly is a beautiful calico girl only about 3 years old. She seems to have a lot of energy and enjoys to play. Her favorite toys are wand toys, specifically anything with a feather for her to batt her paws at. Lilly plays a bit rough sometimes and I think would do great in a home that can play with her to tire her out, understands cats, and can respect her boundaries. Lilly is a sweet, social girl and seems to enjoy attention but can be a bit particular about petting and handling. She may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to her new home. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke 💔😿🙏Thank you
