Όπως φαίνεται, η ντροπή υποχωρεί όταν η ανάγκη για τη δημιουργία ενός "ένδοξου παρελθόντος" είναι απελπισμένη. Είναι η κλασική περίπτωση όπου ένα κράτος χωρίς βαθιές ιστορικές ρίζες προσπαθεί να "κλέψει" την ιστορία των γειτόνων του για να αποκτήσει υπόσταση.
Αυτό που κάνει η συγκεκριμένη ανάρτηση είναι καθαρή διαστρέβλωση: Ο Pierre Cabanes ήταν ένας σπουδαίος ελληνιστής. Το να χρησιμοποιούν το όνομά του για να πουν ότι οι Μυκηναίοι δεν ήταν Έλληνες είναι αν μη τι άλλο για πολλές κλωτσιές!
