@bubheel135 @BorutoRiden When that special came out, it was announced around the same time as the Boruto movie, after the Sarada Gaiden. Kishimoto mentioned that Naruto was around 28 years old when he took over. That's why Pierrot made Boruto and Hima older, because they were older.

@Zagaboond55399 @aarj_aod She died at the age of 24, 12 years ago in the first part. If we add the 3 years that passed in the timeskip, she died 15 years ago, and Kawaki is around 17 or 18 years old. So chronologically, it's possible.

@Lunaneko14 Kishimoto never said that; for him, Boruto had Naruto's face, and his eyes were simply softer because he wasn't a fox. Ikemoto also didn't consider Boruto to have anything in common with Hinata (in terms of design) back in 2019.

This is why I always said that out of the big 3: Bleach always had the best art style. Both Kishi and Kubo say Boru and Kazu have their mother’s faces with dad’s color palettes but it’s instantly clear with JUST Kazui. This shows how distinct Kubo’s art is.
