Conservatives Poilievre, Scheer and Lantsman can't say one positive thing about Canada and PM Carney. Every interview, speech and statement is negative. It is exhausting.

@Roman_Baber @DaxterDude2 @RosieBarton Canadians do not vote for PM, nor for a majority or a minority. We only vote for our own riding. You know this. We vote for local representation only. That’s the only vote we get for each level. You know this. I don’t agree with it, but it’s reality

No one is denying majority happened @RosieBarton. Point is a majority government was NOT ELECTED. A minority was. And there's nothing funny about that. What does that do for voter confidence?

Since its inception 1938, the Canadian Cancer Society has received over 2.1 billion dollars in cancer research funding. In addition to this, they have received billions in donations. From 2022 - 2023, they received over $129 million. Do you really think they're going to give that kind of money up for a cure?

Le Devoir argues Pierre Poilievre's combative style is not resonating with Canadians or parts of his caucus. One reporter says "Canadian voters have mostly tuned him out" due to his broad, blanket criticism of the government. Do you agree with that assessment?

OTTAWA — A new poll has found that 89% of Canadians believe Donald Trump is to blame for Canada’s struggling economy, citing everything from rising grocery prices to housing costs and general financial anxiety. How, exactly, Trump is responsible remains unclear. “It’s complicated,” one respondent said. “But every time something feels off, he seems like a safe bet.” The survey found strong consensus across demographics, with many Canadians expressing confidence in their conclusion despite being unable to point to a direct connection. “I don’t follow all the details,” another participant admitted. “But it just feels related.” Meanwhile, when asked about their own biggest financial concerns, respondents pointed to inflation, taxes, housing affordability, and stagnant wages—issues largely tied to domestic policy. Analysts say the results reflect a growing tendency to assign complex problems to simple, external causes. “It’s easier,” one observer noted. “You don’t have to rethink anything—you just have to agree on who to blame.” Because when the economy gets harder to explain, the explanation doesn’t get more accurate— It just gets louder.
