Just telling yourself to realize you’re dreaming isn’t enough. 🚫🤞 You have to train your memory to recognize the cues that you’re dreaming. 🔑 It only takes a few moments, here and there, to practice forming those memory associations. 🧠 Once you understand the practices well, lucid dreaming becomes easy and automatic! 🪄

Lucid dreams are full of beauty and mysticism. When I see AI art like this, I go..."meh." 🫤 But when I see something similar in a lucid dream, I go..."Wow!" 🤩 Can AI "art" cheapen the lucid dream experience? Or enhance it? And why do you think so?

So sorry for your loss. I’m glad you’re seeing your friend in your dreams. It’s very common to dream of lost loved ones, but wake feeling as if you missed out on connecting with them more in the dream. You can definitely use Lucid dreams to do so! …MILD technique, and prolonging techniques (spinning) to prevent waking too soon or change Dream scenes come to mind. @LucidDreamTips I’m a natural lucid dreamer. Since my beloved friend passed my dreams changed. He’s in every dream, even if I don’t try. I feel him strongly but if I try to see him clearly I wake up or he stays distant. I ache with longing for one peaceful moment with him💔 appreciate any help.

Should you do wake-back-to-bed (WBTB) after your 3rd or 4th REM period? Research has looked at both—and both can be effective for lucid dreaming. What’s missing is a discussion of who each timing works best for. Individual factors like age and insomnia-proneness likely matter. 💫 Here’s my take: (1/3)

It’s also possible to do WBTB after a natural awakening, without an alarm. This might happen after your 2nd REM period—for example, waking from a vivid early-night dream or getting up to use the restroom. Use that window to refocus your mind on returning to sleep with lucidity. 💫 (3/3)

WBTB timing isn’t one-size-fits-all. • Younger sleepers (who need more total sleep) often do best waking after the 4th REM period—the timing used in most college-aged research samples. • Older or insomnia-prone sleepers often get better results after the 3rd REM period, when enough REM and sleep pressure is still available. 💫(2/3)

You can become lucid during the falling sensation as you fall asleep. Instead of starling awake in a gasp, intend to recognize the cue of falling as a dream. Then gently let yourself fall backwards in a somersault, surrendering and knowing you’re safely asleep. You can land straight into a lucid dream. #SOREMP #surrender #lucid #WILD

@grok I regularly have the falling dream, hard for to replicate, but think of it as a massive power down. Anyway last week I had the same dream , bot instead of instantly waking up I thought 'this is just a dream' and for a few ms I no longer fell or was awake or was controlled I was
