All these ‘Faith’ leaders rally to defend the Pope’s politically charged positions. The Silence from the same clergy during the Biden years while millions of unvetted, undocumented illegal immigrates from 170 countries, was Deafening, as child and drug trafficking threatened to destroy our country. Christians are being mudered in Africa. Nothing so much as a peep from these so called leaders.

@toxiccowboy1 Agreed. Some lines you don’t cross, especially if it can be perceived incorrectly or misinterpreted. The only central figure of this kind of illustration is Jesus Christ. Period.

I think Trump crossed the line here. Not a smart move. I want an explanation. This does have an antichrist ring to it. For him to be the antichrist, he will eventually turn against Christians and Jews, force people to take the mark of the beast, and force people to worship him.

President Trump’s team never should have posted this image. If he saw it first, he never should have approved it. It’s inappropriate and embarrassing. It’s offensive. (Note: It was posted on Truth Social, not X)

As a loyal supporter of President Trump, I don’t always agree with everything he does or shares. Case in point: this picture. While I believe he was going for “Saving America and her people,” it doesn’t translate as such to me. It looks like he’s portraying himself as Jesus laying hands on the sick with divine light, and I do not agree with that. Trump is a strong leader fighting for our country, but no man is our Savior, only Jesus Christ holds that role. Loyalty doesn’t mean blind agreement. Let’s keep our focus on real results and policies. 🇺🇸

With everything you just said, @BishopBarron, I think the Pope owes America—and many Western nations affected by mass migration—a serious apology and a moment of reflection. As a Catholic, I’m genuinely outraged. Outraged at what feels like silence and inconsistency when Christians around the world are suffering persecution and violence at the hands of Muslim and the response of the Church is to put Muslim prayer rooms in Rome. Outraged at that Catholic-linked charities and institutions have become entangled—directly or indirectly—in mass migration, where in many cases, trafficking is involved. And I’m outraged that parts of the Church appear increasingly aligned with political messaging rather than spiritual leadership—especially in moments like this, where the Pope meeting with a prominent Democratic strategist, who is not a Catholic, nor a Christian raises real questions. The Church should not be functioning as a political actor. It should be unapologetically Catholic—rooted in doctrine, tradition, evangelization, and the salvation of souls. Not drifting into policy advocacy or signaling that aligns it with one side of modern political debates. What many faithful Catholics are asking for is simple: clarity, consistency, and a Church that focuses on its mission instead of politics that are destroying the sovereignty of so many Nations.
Bishop Robert Barron@BishopBarron

The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media. I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.

@USCCB You said NOTHING as millions of unvetted, undocumented illegal aliens from 170 countries, invaded the U.S. border for five years, but your NGO, Catholic Charities took in billions of taxpayer funds. You said NOTHING as thousands of Christians were murdered in Africa by Islamic terrorists. As a practicing Catholic, I’d suggest you go sit down.

@ArchbishopOKC How much money did Catholic Charities taken in during the Biden Open Borders fiasco? The hypocrisy is staggering. Sometimes I wonder why I remain a Catholic, since my church is actively working against me and other parishioners.

Yes I’m Catholic and very disappointed with the Church’s actions concerning illegal immigration over the past five years. They have facilitated and encouraged lawlessness via Catholic Charities. When the Vatican changes their immigration laws, then they can lecture everyone about morality. Until then Shut Up.

Disturbing that Catholic clergy continue to double down on illegal immigration policy and its lucrative use by Catholic Charities. All in the name of compassion. How compassionate is it to create a permanent underclass? Where’s the compassion when there is known child sex trafficking?

@JackPosobiec The Pope is a man. A man that thinks our border should be open, we should give our wealth away, and hasn’t said shit about the Iranians or Nigerian Christians being slaughtered. As a Catholic, I’m allowed to disagree with him.

As a Catholic, I don’t recall the outrage, while the Biden administration allowed hundreds of thousands of unvetted, undocumented immigrants to cross our borders illegally while Catholic Charities took in billions in taxpayer funds during that period. Nor did I recall outrage by the same Catholic clergy for the Biden administration’s abortion support, in direct defiance of Catholic teachings,
