@JorgeCastilloPr Sometimes, people don't have enough knowledge about a field to know what to ask an LLM. So courses are still valuable for teaching the fundamentals so that students know what to ask.

Every day I’m more convinced tech courses aren’t good business anymore. Most devs don’t want to take courses now. They just open Claude and ask. Things are changing fast. Your business needs to change too. Same goes for tech books.

This setting is crucial for agentic coding in IntelliJ / Android Studio. Otherwise, your agents could read outdated files that are only in memory and not yet written to disc!

I’m now fully back in course creation mode 💪 My first step was updating the "Testing Coroutines" module in my “Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for Android Development” course. Next up on my roadmap: a brand-new course on "Modern Spring Boot with Kotlin". Stay Tuned!

@devforwhile One requirement for this position is that you need to travel once per week to the office in Vienna, so you should live nearby. If that works for you, please apply via the link in the initial tweet

@HardikThakker12 Fully-remote is unfortunately not possible, you should be in the office in Vienna at least twice a month ...

We want the UI of our Android and iOS apps to be more dynamic & controllable by our backend, but we struggle to find the proper degree of flexibility. Anybody with experience, tips or links to good resources here? Every kind of help is appreciated :) #AndroidDev #iosdev

@FatalError1609 Yep, agree! I wonder if there are some kind of best practices around server-driven UI for mobile apps, or if every company their own "system"?

@LukasLechnerDev That's one of the toughest part about server driven UI. Figuring out where to draw the line .

@Gabriel_993 We are already sending the platform and version in the header, so this would be possible. However, I think the version-feature mapping is hard to maintain... I am also not sure how to implement this with feature flags that can be toggled in the developer settings of the app...

@LukasLechnerDev what you think about pass the platform in header, and the BFF checks a configuration file for each platform? Using that way, we can have clients agnostic to know the features, and the control can be in only one source of true, and client doesnt need to send to bff the features

My Backend for Frontend needs to know which features a mobile client supports. I am thinking about using http headers in request that indicate which features are supported. Is this a good idea or are there other best practices? #AndroidDev

If you're curious why I release more content lately: I decided to try my best becoming a full-time content creator. I thought about this for years, but never had the discipline to commit to. Now I'm putting my consulting practice aside and going all-in on content creation.
