@notdarai Idk man, I’m itching for more stuff. More nerfs (generally) means options get limited. Which in turn is going to make the game feel a little more stale over time . It feels like a tug of war between dev nerfs and player ingenuity, rather than a team effort to make the game fun

@LukeAtNight every character is incredibly powerful. especially the ones that were developed first. nerfs make them all feel way more fair to fight and im all for it

It’s crazy how the fact that every single rivals player screaming for nerfs on the de facto “best character in the game” once the former best character gets nerfed, is gonna drive me back to melee. It’s like people don’t want the game to be fun. Mind boggling to me fr.

And just to clarify, this is not a dig at melee. Nobody is saying melee is dead (at least not seriously anyway). This is just saying that if melee is doing fine, then clearly rivals is too

Maybe it’s my melee brain talking, but this is just what high level is. Not that this needs to be explained to Hyperflame -Good players won’t hit your shield without spacing or being + -they won’t use weak moves at CC percent Lowering lag will just make it more about spacing

@Hylian88 This is so real. Nair confirms (even when you can get sweet spot) don’t feel real. Side B after aerials are now “reads” instead of confirms. 0 options when crossed up other than WD OoS. 90% of the time I’m just juggling with up air.

I really cannot stress how unfun I find Galvan now. I had already bought entry to Evo but I will no longer be going because I do not enjoy playing the character anymore he has lost 90% of his sauce and plays so boring atm. I will just keep playing doubles and not travel anymore.

I have finally gotten back from vacation and have been able to play Rivals 2 post patch. Here are my Galvan conclusions - I still rarely lose - People still suck against Galvan - He is not nearly has fun Devs did the same shit to Ranno. If you want me to camp say it to my face

@Lone_RoA2 If I had it my way, new characters wouldn’t get a patch (aside from bugs) for 6 months

Final rant for the day: these were the changes to la reina at day 14. why are people saying its too early to make slade side special link properly or a slight movement speed increase?

There’s realistically no reason kakashi needs a full mask, an eye patch would do. My working theory is Kishimoto wanted to increase the chance that an anime version of his manga would get an English dub, and the mask offered more translation freedom. Same with Zabuza
