Today we held our RISE Information Meeting! 💚 RISE supports paraprofessionals pursuing their bachelor’s degree & teacher certification — with tuition covered by the district. Proud to invest in the amazing talent already serving our students.

It may still be February, but today felt like spring. ☀️ The stadium was alive with energy as our athletes put in the work — soccer on the pitch, track on the oval, and even Coach Gillis out there grinding with the shot putters. This is what commitment looks like.

Superintendent Warren stopped by One Act Play practice today! Warm-ups → straight into dress rehearsal. The dedication, preparation, memorization, and emotion on display were incredible. So proud of our performers and director!

Honoring Shirley Chisholm this Black History Month — a fearless leader who broke barriers and reminded us: “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” Her courage continues to inspire generations. 💚

Counselor Appreciation Week 💚 One of our favorite traditions is delivering breakfast to our amazing counselors as a small thank you for the big impact they make every day. We are so grateful for their care, and support to our students!

The HS counselors led a powerful presentation on teen dating violence, sharing resources, real-life examples, & engaging participants in an activity about healthy relationships. Standing room only. We're grateful for the care and commitment our counselors show students!

We will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow. Routes have been assessed and are safe. Please be sure students are dressed appropriately for the weather. All campuses will be open at 7:15am for students to wait inside. We look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow morning!
