It is literally takes me 1-2 days to finish a full illustration (+ BG and such) is it really that unbelievable? I keep seeing post that they got assumed of "using AI" because they work fast.. but really, drawing isn't that long or difficult.. especially if you have like years of experience on a professional field.. not all artists just Deviant art beginners, you know...

Please, dont give up. Take a break if you have to, but don't ever lose that passion to draw.

like i said, not my first rodeo, I let my DM freely accessible for like a year, and no commissions at all.. just bunch of scammers and spammers.. so enough is enough, if people care enough to commission me, they'll contact me via my links (vgen or ko-fi) otherwise, why open the flood gate?

@LunaProdu Fair, but then why are you surprised you don't get anything here when you willingly make it impossible, friend?

Sometime i feel like artists and clients are living in different universe or something.. never once i got a commission via twitter... commissions i often get are from different sources (ko-fi, vgen, close friends or discord) NEVER ONCE FROM TWITTER 😐🫤🫤

@Zooty6_ eh.. kinda the point to sort out trolls and scammers??? its not my first rodeo.. i keep getting scam DMs for the "can you draw my son's pet messages" so i rather handle real human who follows me first before attempting to DM.. not really a hard puzzle there, friend :)

a tourist looking at a chef flipping an egg and yell "that is not an egg! did you notice, egg has shell, this chef fake the egg because no eggs look that white and have weird ball in the middle! and if you cracked an egg, it's all liquid, you cannot flip it!!" Lets be real, alot of these kind of comments usually came from people who dont understand how art progression look..

i feel so sad, i spent over 80h on this drawing... people sometimes comments without knowing anything, this feels like a stab directly in the heart this person doesn't know the real process behind it + sometimes i erase parts without realizing it and have to redraw them u.u

@ThatoneJosie Yeah kinda agree with twitter artists mostly problematic.. maybe the reason why i never got client from X is due to the rep

@LunaProdu I always use Vgen But finding people over twitter is the issue. Finding people from “I have ych open” posts :|

gentle reminder for artists.. SKETCHES ARE SUPPOSE TO LOOK BAD! don't be afraid if your sketches look nothing like you planned, or is bad, or is messy, thats the point of sketching... its a safe zone where you can scratch whatever you like before actually attempting to finish it don't waste all your energy on the sketch, this is a "playzone", its not suppose to carry the weight of your final artwork if you are sketching, make at least 2-3 layers (digital art) - Layer 1 is for very rough - Layer 2 is for clean things up and Layer 3 is optional but its for a very tidy, without junk, sketches before going to line art don't be shy for using as many layers as you like for your sketch,, there is no rule, what are you worrying about?

I want to apologize for my previous post if you happen to stumble it.. if you're not... PHEW! let's not talk about it! I already deleted it, if anyone wondering... Expecting for more "normal" artworks in the future~

it is difficult unless you have a starting point or mass posting.. Meta algorithm works like a non stop train, it wouldn't wait for you, it'll keep moving.. and the only way to keep up is keep posting, even if its a repost over and over, and whoever left behind will be lost in the void.. and imagine this, ALOT of people post like almost every day, every seconds.. the train is SUPER FAST there is a counter; Videos... Reels get way more attention than static images.. but then again you still need to SPAM!
