I can’t think of one good reason for Lestat to lie about this. This wouldn’t be the first time the show changed up Armand’s actions from what he did in the book, and I’m pretty sure that’s what’s happening here.

@dantesletters1 I mean, yes, and also, Armand was indoctrinated into a cult where he was given these responsibilities and forced to see Vampires loose themselves over and over. Armand’s expression is grim recognition because he’s seen this all before and knows how it plays out

#tvlspoiler Say what you want about how bad Armand is, but he wasn’t the one laughing while Nicki lost it. He doesn’t look happy, he looks resigned, because as he’s said, he’s seen this exact scenario play out dozens of times before.

@MissSariie He pretty much outwardly states that Daniel is dead, but Im not too worried about it. I think this is a red herring for some other twist. Stories usually wont give away something like that without there being plans to subvert it in someway
