Megan Rapinoe, who took weeks to say a word about Iranian’s women’s soccer team facing death, is angry the Olympics banned men pretending to be women from competing in the Olympics. She’s truly awful.

OUT OF BOUNDS: Megan Rapinoe slams the new IOC policy limiting women’s events to biological females based on sex testing. "This committee is framing it as based in science, which it’s not," she said. "This will ultimately just prevent people from competing within the women’s category that they feel like they have an unfair advantage. It’s just really hateful."

🚨Phoenix Police Department - Critical Incident Summary.
Location: Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. On October 20, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Phoenix Police Dept officers responded to a reported trespassing call at the Dollar Tree. A store employee contacted 9-1-1 to report that a male subject, later identified as Essex Jackson, age 31, appeared to be in an impaired state, was in possession of a large knife, and was causing distress among customers present in the store.
Two officers were dispatched and arrived on scene. Store personnel directed the responding officers - identified as Officer Ryan Small (Badge #10272) and a second female officer, upon officers' attempt to place him in handcuffs, Jackson actively resisted arrest, initiating a violent physical altercation. Both officers deployed their Tasers on multiple occasions during the struggle; the deployments produced minimal effect on the subject. During the course of the altercation, a Taser device was dislodged and fell to the ground. Jackson gained control of the dropped Taser, directed it at the officers, and discharged it, delivering electrical current to both officers and temporarily incapacitating them. Faced with an imminent threat to their lives, Officer Small discharged his duty firearm, striking Jackson multiple times. Bodycam footage captured audible evidence consistent with approximately six rounds fired.
Phoenix Fire Department 75 personnel arrived on scene and assumed medical care; however, Essex Jackson was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. A fixed-blade knife, consistent with the description provided in the initial 9-1-1 call, was recovered in the vicinity of the subject.
Both responding officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the physical struggle and Taser discharge and were transported to a medical facility for evaluation and treatment before being released.
The Phoenix Police Department's Professional Standards Bureau initiated an internal administrative review of the incident. A parallel criminal investigation was referred to and undertaken by the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.

@FurkanGozukara Good. Maybe when the U.S. pulls out of NATO they’ll have to seek a new alliance. One that pays for most of their defense like the U.S. did. Opps, that won’t happen. RIP Europe. Nice way to treat the country that saved you in WWII.

Steph Curry detailed the challenges of his knee injury prior to Sunday return.
Will it impact the rest of his career?
“Yes and no. There's nothing structurally wrong with my knee. So it's not like I'm compromised out there. It is a new normal, though.” espn.com/nba/story/_/id…
