GT are in complete denial about their middle and lower middle order. Quality death hitting, at a minimum, means striking at 180 and averaging at least 25 per wicket. If you average more without striking higher, you are not scoring fast enough. If you strike higher without averaging 25, you are not impactful enough. That second part gets misunderstood a lot. Striking at 190 while averaging 11 or 12 is not some badge of honor. It is no better than 30 at 170. Any bowling attack with real quality or smart plans will sort you out. Shahrukh Khan is 13/174 since 2024. Tewatia is 20/171. That is simply not good enough.
