🇮🇷🇺🇸 DID IRAN DOWN AN F-35? CENTCOM confirmed that a US F-35 was struck by Iranian fire while flying a combat mission over Iran and was forced to make an emergency landing. The pilot is described as being in stable condition. The incident is under investigation. Iran claims it shot the aircraft down. Here is what else we know: In the hours following the incident, a US Army MH-47G Chinook, registration 19-02916, was tracked on FlightRadar24 flying an extensive series of tight circling patterns over the eastern Saudi Arabian region near Al Jubayl. The flight pattern is consistent with Combat Search and Rescue operations: the kind of search profile you fly when you are looking for a downed aircraft or a pilot on the ground. The IRGC claims the shoot-down occurred at AM Iran time. The Chinook's search activity and the timeline raise questions about whether the F-35 reached a base at all, or whether it came down somewhere over Saudi territory. CENTCOM says it landed safely. A Chinook was circling the Saudi desert in a CSAR pattern. One of those things may not be true.

It's called "Atrocity Propaganda" and it is used by colonisers in every conflict they provoke to portray themselves as victims and justify their subsequent aggression.
Same thing was done in 1991 when the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US was coached to testify before US Congress that Saddam's guards took babies out of incubators and killed them with bayonets. Then the whole story was later retracted quietly.
Same thing was done in 2011 when western media began reporting that Gadaffi was a rapist who kidnapped young girls off the street and their parents never saw them again, and that he distributed Viagra to his armies of black mercenaries from Sub Saharan Africa so they could rape Libyans as punishment for rising against him.
Same thing was done a few weeks ago when western media uniformly began reporting that "Iran killed 30,000 protesters". That too is being quietly retracted.
Whoever repeats these lies is not doing so out of ignorance, because this has happened so many times.

When Trump says the U.S. has had "very good and productive" conversations with Iran, and Iran says "there are no negotiations," one of them is lying.
This is not a gray area.
This is not a matter of different perspectives or competing interpretations or the natural ambiguity of diplomatic language.
Either talks are happening or they are not.
Either progress is being made or it is not.
Iran has said, in clear language, through official channels, for the record:
There are no talks.
We have not agreed to negotiate.
No intermediary has brought us a proposal we have accepted.
Nothing the American administration has announced reflects any actual diplomatic contact.
That is a factual claim. It is either true or false.
If it is false, Iran is lying to its own people and to the world about the existence of negotiations, which would be an extraordinary diplomatic gambit with no obvious strategic benefit.
If it is true, Trump is lying to the American people and to the markets about negotiations that don't exist, which is consistent with a documented pattern of Trump making announcements that bear no relationship to underlying reality.
The press covers it as "dueling claims."
It is not dueling claims.
One side is lying.
The evidence about which side that is has been accumulating for years.
