‘CLAYFACE’ is set before ‘SUPERMAN’ in the DCU timeline, James Gunn confirms. “It’s the first DCU film out of chronological order.”

I am genuinely so impressed with this rollout. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a studio successfully promote two very different CBMs at the same time, it’s incredible that both the promo for Supergirl and Clayface is not only good, but unique to the world’s they’re each building.

I was skeptical about this movie when I first heard about it. I was just like, “Oh… more self-referential ‘meta’ humor. Meh.” But I heard the impassioned testimonies of those who worked on it, and after those dimwits at WB decided to pull a “Batgirl” on it, I thought, “I’m gonna support it even if it’s not my cup of tea just because I’m sick of suits and their BS”. Having watched this trailer: I’m REEEEEEEEEEAAAAALLY excited to see @CoyoteACMEMovie ! Literally can’t wait. God, I love it when I’m wrong!

Idk it just feels like him going from this tragic and terrifying character to some bum who creeps on women and plays video games is a disservice to what they’re trying to do with this movie
