@vibes_nate Atlanta - Herro could fit in and take that CJ spot and he’s surrounded by defenders which is very ideal for him.
Rockets - dump Vanvleet and put a high level shooter next to Amen. Taller and more developed version of what they want out of Reed Shephard with KDs shorter timeline.

Two teams approached the Heat about a Tyler Herro trade outside of their discussions with the Bucks at the trade deadline, sources told ClutchPoints' @BrettSiegelNBA: "Given all the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation, the Heat have been willing to hear offers for Herro dating back to before the trade deadline. Outside of offering him in a deal to the Bucks for Giannis, Miami did hear from two other organizations, one from each conference, that had expressed a level of interest in the 26-year-old at the deadline, sources said. The Heat never truly pursued a trade involving Herro in February outside of their talks for Antetokounmpo, but the All-Star guard's future in South Beach is one of the main talking points entering the summer."

Conclusion
In conclusion between poor coaching, Injuries and the Ego clash. This team simply didn’t have enough to get to the playoffs. I’m tired of the promises from Pat Riley as many others are. At this stage we want them to buy in to making a winner or reset and rebuild.

Coincidentally with the injuries, Norman and Herro (whether they admitted it or not) wanted the starting shooting guard spot after it was determined they couldn’t start together. It often felt like their play correlated with their happiness with the situation (poor play).

End of season review
Regardless of what ESPN, Bleacher Report or anyone had this team finishing as. The Miami Heat definitely underachieved this year. Injuries and poor coaching.

@dferrel15 We have some solid young guys. I’d prefer to invest in youth. Kawhi makes us contenders, but not winners. Jimmy put on one of the best playoff performances ever and the franchise didn’t bring in any help. They’ll do the same thing even if they do land him.

I’m just saying. Kawhi could do something with the Heat, a couple of more moves to round out the roster and the Heat could actually compete for the East.
The only question will be, can he continue to be as available during the regular season the way he is doing it this year?
