The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME), Hon. Modestus Amutse, handed over a donation of School Uniforms to the Brandberg Primary School and Petrus Ganeb Senior Secondary School, valued at N$ 50,000, at Uis, Erongo Region. The donation will benefit 210 learners at the primary school and 48 at the secondary school. Honourable Amutse said during the donation, that education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, therefore, governments across the world place strong emphasis on school attendance and continued learning. "We do not want any learner to come to school wearing torn or worn-out clothing that may make them feel less confident among their peers. Every child deserves to walk into the classroom with pride and dignity. Our hope is that these uniforms will help you focus on what truly matters, your education, so that nothing stands in the way of you achieving your dreams and reaching your full potential," the Minister stated. #MIME
