Ambassador Dr. Salma Rasheed delivered a statement at the event “The Role of Multilateralism in the Preservation of the Ocean: A Geneva Perspective” hosted by the Permanent Mission of Portugal in Geneva. She highlighted that SIDS such as the Maldives continue to face limited access to concessional financing and called for systems that recognize and reward proven stewardship of ocean preservation.
